Preamble

Welcome to the Lezismore (濡沫) community, Fading Chat, and other derivative services (collectively, "the Platform").

These Guidelines apply to all community users and administrative personnel. By using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the following Guidelines, so that together we can maintain a space that is anonymous, sex-positive, and inclusive of diversity.

1. Community Conduct

1.1 Basic Principles

• • Respect diversity and difference; do not drive out those who differ from you (for example: "get out," "if you don't like it, leave").
  • Hateful violence, discrimination, and threatening behavior are prohibited.
  • Protect privacy; unauthorized disclosure of personal information (screenshots, conversations, audio, images, etc.) without consent is prohibited.
  • Sexual exploitation, commercialized sexual services, and coerced or non-consensual arrangements for intimate acts are prohibited.
  • Spam content, false news, malicious advertising, and scam links are prohibited.
  • Impersonation and misuse of identity are prohibited (including, but not limited to, misuse of (former) team-member status).

1.2 Sensitive Information & Voluntary Disclosure

• • Users are not required to provide sensitive personal information such as sex assigned at birth, sexual orientation, or sexual activity at registration; whether to disclose such information is left to each user's own discretion.
  • If you choose to share such information within the community, please be mindful of the scope of interaction and visibility. The Platform bears no responsibility for the subsequent circulation or use of content a user has voluntarily made public.

1.3 Submission Rules

• • Submissions (submission threads) are, in principle, subject to manual review, but not all submissions can be reviewed promptly or in full. Moderation staff will make reasonable efforts to process them, but do not vouch for the legality or accuracy of any post; users are solely responsible for the content they publish.
  • Only one submission of a similar topic or nature may be posted within any 14-day period; please plan and organize your content accordingly.
  • Each submission is system-limited to 150 characters; please do not pad content with repeated characters, meaningless text, or symbols.
  • Because moderation review staffing is limited, time-sensitive or urgent submissions cannot be accepted.
  • For submissions that involve connecting with real people — such as recruitment or dating posts — and in order to safeguard the subjectivity of sexual minorities while balancing the principle of anonymity, the community, in principle, only publishes submissions in which the poster has voluntarily disclosed their gender identity; the content and extent of that disclosure are left to the poster's own discretion.
  • Once published, submission content may be edited by the poster, but manually forcing a post to the top through repeated edits within a short period, deleting and reposting, or flooding the comment section is strictly prohibited.

2. Special Activities & Applications

2.1 Surveys, Research & Interviews

• • Any survey, fieldwork, research interview, policy petition, or large-scale collection of personal information must be applied for in advance through the Main Site and receive written consent.

2.2 Commercial Collaboration & Advertising

• • Activities, promotions, advertisements, or information of a commercial nature (regardless of whether payment or sponsorship is involved) require prior contact; such submissions may not be posted directly without consent.

3. Community Management & Handling of Violations

3.1 Management Roles & Authority

• • Community moderation staff (junior moderators) are responsible for day-to-day moderation review.
  • Moderation actions are carried out according to the principles set out in this document and the detailed rules published by the Site on the community platform; the Site reserves final discretion.

3.2 Violation Tiers & Handling

• • Minor violations: a reminder from moderation staff, temporary hiding of content, or a request to edit the content.
  • Moderate violations: short-term silencing, temporary suspension.
  • Severe violations: permanent account deletion, permanent suspension, or reporting to law enforcement.

3.3 Appeals

• • Users may appeal actions such as silencing or suspension at: Moderation Appeal
  • If the above channel is temporarily unavailable, appeals may instead be submitted to contact(at)lezismore.org.

4. Special Scenarios

4.1 Fading Chat

• • Fading Chat is a subscription service; users must comply with the general community guidelines. Content is retained for 60 days, after which it is automatically deleted.
  • Real-time violations are handled directly by junior moderators and the Site; severe cases may result in temporary or permanent suspension of community account access.

4.2 Private Messaging

• Private messages fall within individual interactions, but the community guidelines still apply (for example, prohibitions on sexual harassment, fraud, and intimidation).
• Users may protect themselves using the block and raise-a-fin functions.

5. Raising a Fin (Flagging) & Community Self-Governance

5.1 How to Raise a Fin

• • You can file a report through the site's one-click raise-a-fin feature.
  • Note: raising a fin does not guarantee a case-by-case response, in order to avoid excessive community tension and to protect the privacy of those involved.

5.2 User Tools for Improving Community Interaction

• • Mute: stop receiving notifications from a specific user.
  • Ignore: hide content posted by a specific user for a set period of time.

6. Final Statement

• • This document sets out the basis for community governance. The site may revise and publish updates to it as operational needs or regulatory changes require; revisions take effect from the time they are published.
  • This document sets out the principles and general direction of community governance. The detailed rules for posting, review, and handling are published separately by the Site on the community platform and may be adjusted at any time; where this document and those published rules are inconsistent, the version published on the community platform prevails.
